Nickel Bars
When working with hydrofluoric acid, fluorine, hydrogen fluorine, or any different derivatives, Nickel Bars are some of the few metallic materials that can safely contact the element. The resistance of these bars to caustic alkalis is extremely high. When exposed to seawater, the alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, with enhanced resistance to cavitations rust compared to copper-based alloys. It is safe to use with dilute solutions of mineral hydrochloric and sulphuric acids, as long as the solutions are not contaminated with air. Under oxidizing conditions, however, the corrosion rate of our Nickel Bars may increase significantly if it does not contain any chromium.
